Además, Alonso -un individuo cuando menos peculiar que usa extraños métodos deductivos y científicos- tiene que cumplir otro encargo del secretario general en Bruselas: capturar a un grabador, el Turco, cuyos grabados, llamados pamfletten, están haciendo que los orangistas ganen la batalla de la propaganda.Pamfletten es una novela policíaca ambientada en el siglo XVI, donde junto a la investigación de unos sádicos asesinatos, nos muestra cómo eran los famosos Tercios de Flandes, como vivían, se organizaban, combatían y, cómo vivían, se organizaban, combatían y cómo resultó la compleja situación política y estratégica tras la ocupación de aquellas tierras por la ocupación de aquellas tierras por la mejor infantería de su época.
